What is UI/UX?

I am a beginner in the field of UI/UX so I’ll be keeping this write up short. One thing I noticed from the videos and write ups I’ve had the chance to read is that it seems in one way or the other we apply an aspect of UI/UX to our lives, starting from how we arrange our apartments to the color of clothes we choose or how comfortable we feel in certain clothes all this in little ways relate to UI/UX. In my own understanding, UI (User Interface) deals with the appearance and display of an app, a service or a product. UI is what gets our attention, it’d more about the aesthetics and attraction a product can have on its users, while UX( User Experience) deals with the usability of an application or a product, how easy it is for a user to navigate and use a product. User Experience deals with Efficiency, Effectiveness and Satisfaction. I also got to look at the steps to becoming a UX designer and saw the career opportunities available and I’m excited to begin this journey.**
